At the Big Springs Veterinary Clinic, we use cytology to examine the surface of the skin’s legions and ears for evidence of bacterial or yeast infections, in-house testing, analysis of tumors, and in-house diagnostics for infections.
In-House Testing
If your pet has a skin or ear infection or has masses, our doctors will offer to perform cytology to better evaluate what is occurring. In-house skin, ear, and tumor cytology offer effective, point of care diagnostics helping facilitate treatment. Additional testing on tumors can be sent out to a board-certified clinical pathologist.
